'LIVING ART' travel exhibition is a cooperation between the environmental organization VERDENS SKOVE & artist Lise Vestergaard
This information is for companies that consider sustainability and want to support that the worlds forest remains. For companies that want to stop the deforestation which is a massive pressure on the forest resources and the accelerating loss of species which is a huge threat to the Earth's livelihood, which we have a duty to stop.
The number of fires in Brazil's huge rainforest has grown explosively. Right now, the largest number of forest fires is raging since 2013. The fires are often caused by people who want to clear rainforest to get land for agriculture.
It is now time to act to preserve the >Worlds Forest so future generation can take a breathe of relief.
You can help us make this change.
The rent of this travel exhibition will support the fantastic, important and necessary work of the World Forest e.g.
information, documentation and practical measures.
Besides this you will you will support the movement by involving people in a life important issue - that concerns all of us. Information posters, and movie will supply the exhibition.
The tenant/company may inform about the donation to World Forest on their homepage, in social media, in reports and in correspondence. They may as well use the logo of World Forest in this context. Other uses of the logo require an agreement. The rent is set to minimum kr. 10.000 (ex. vat) for one month rent, the company can donate any choosen amount from here. The rent goes uncut to World Forest organisations important work to save the world forest.

‘Bondepige - i gang med dagens sysler’
Har det moderne teknologi samfund fjernet os fra naturen? Og hvordan får vi genskabt vores relation til naturen og omlagt rutiner som er bæredygtige. Er vi villige til at yde den indsats det kræver, eller har vi lullet os ind i en bekvemmelighedskultur som vi ikke magter at komme ud af?
‘Bondekone - i gang med dagens sysler’
Hvad er bæredygtig levevis? Vi har i flere årtier levet i en brug-og-smid-væk-samfund, og det er nu tømmermændene af det, vi er vågnet op til.
‘Bondepige - og en stille sult, formiddag’
Produktions mælk og chokoladekiks er med tiden erstattet af et frisk glas komælk og syltet blommer.
Gennemsnitsdanskeren har et forbrug på 80 liter mælk cirka 250 kilo CO2 om året. Hvis man droppede mælken og skiftede til plantedrikke, så ville man i runde tal halvere sin udledning af CO2.

Som forbruger har vi indflydelse på hvordan klodens ressourcer forvaltes i forhold til vores indkøbsrutiner. Eksempelvis kan vi gøre en forskel ved at være opmærksom på at vi ikke køber produkter med palmeolie.
‘Jeg kan ikke se skoven’
I tusinder af år har store mængder kulstof været oplagret i jorden under regnskoven. Når bevoksningen fjernes, strømmer der derfor enorme mængder CO2 ud i atmosfæren. I modsætning til selve afbrændingen af regnskoven, der selvsagt også forurener, er CO2-udledningen fra skovbunden kontinuerlig og vil fortsætte – også efter at palmeplantagerne er anlagt.
